19th C. MINIATURE OF 16th C. MAXIMILIAN SUIT OF ARMOR

Description
This garniture represents an early 16th c. Maximilian style jousting armor, and stands 45 cm tall on its oak base. Armor is riveted, and exhibits all the appropriate movements. The visor lifts, the poleyns and couters bend, even the joints on the gauntlet fingers are articulated. The knight is holding his two-handed tournament sword.
