FRENCH MODEL 1854 CAVALRY CUIRASSIER OFFICER'S SWORD

This rare variant of the French Model 1854 cuirassier officer's sword is mounted with a massive Klingenthal-made tri-fold thrusting blade of about 100 cm in length, that has beautifully patinated, with absolutely no rust, pitting or other damages. Gilded hilt was made by one of the the legendary French arms-makers - Lepage. A superb cuirassier officer's sword, which came from the same old collection as the cuirassier armor breast plate and Model 1822 cavalry percussion pistol that are also being offered, and all three would make a terrific display.
