ITALIAN M1833 ARTILLERY SWORD

This Italian Model 1833 Artillery Sword is in excellent overall condition. Iron hilt and scabbard exhibit untouched dark plum patina, leather grip is intact, as is the wire wrapping. Hussar-type hilt is very tight with the blade, and the saber is a beauty to hold. It's substantial, and at the same time very manageable. The blade is clean, with a couple of tiny nicks on the cutting edge. Quillon is stamped SA. An excellent and scarce Italian sword from the 1830s.
