ITALIAN MODEL 1834 CARABINIERI SWORD - WW2 PERIOD

This Italian Model 1834 carabinieri sword dates ca.1920-1940, and is of the type carried by the Foot Carabinieri. Brass parts have acquired a beautiful red patina. Massive and heavy 59 cm-long blade has surface staining on the reverse side, as well as some edge nicks, otherwise fine, with no rust or pitting. Ricasso is stamped CA, denoting the Italian Army property. Leather scabbard has some light surface wear, otherwise fine. A nice Italian WW2 period sword.
