Description

This little double-barrel curiosity is a bit of mystery. The barrels nd frame are made out of some very heavy non-magnetic grey metal, possibly a hardened alloy of lead. The tang of one of the barrels has broken off, which would require some restoration work, two retaining screws are missing at the bottom of the frame, and the locks need to be tuned up, Box-lock selective touch-hole mechanisms are well used, with powder residue on both pans. Overall length 23 cm, smooth-bore barrels are about 9 cm long, in 9 mm caliber. Country of origin is unknown to me, but the designs on the trigger-guard look Oriental.
