Description
This Soviet M1927 shashka is stamped with the Zlatoust Factory cartouche and date 1930 on the ricasso and the lower ferrule. Scabbard fittings are also stamped with inspection cartouches. Blade is 81 cm long. Scabbard is canvas over wood, painted black. Scabbard is 88.5 cm long. Sword is 94.5 cm long overall. Blade shows a light distal taper, if viewed from the top. Blade carries the original factory shine, and retains the factory sharp edge. An excellent WWII Russian sword.
