Description

This Swedish Faskinkniv m/1848 infantry side-arm dates to the late 1840s or 1850s. Fabricated under contract by the famed Solingen cutlers A&E Holler, the weapon is marked T.3 #1125, which stands for the 3 Trängregementet, or the 3rd Transport Regiment. The scabbard is marked with a crown and number 576. The rear Quilon is marked GVA. Blade is 44 cm long, and in excellent condition, retaining a good amount of its factory polish. A nice, heavy mid-19th c. Swedish infantry trooper's side-arm.
